Upon the esteemed passing of Dr. Saeed Kazemi Ashtiani, the founder of Royan Institute, and in recognition of his efforts and to preserve his legacy among national and international scientists, the Supreme Leader proposed the establishment of an award named "Kazemi Prize." This award is to be granted annually to a scientist who has made significant advancements in the field of life sciences.
The 27th International Congress on Reproductive Medicine and the 22nd Congress on Stem Cell Biology and Technology will be held from 2 to 4 September 2026 in Tehran.
The fifth Kazemi Prize was awarded to a distinguished German researcher at the Max Planck Institute.
